Organisation

Mondays and Fridays:

Key Stage Worship led by Head Teacher, Head of Site or visitors, with all staff present, unless on duty just before or after. Reception join KS1 after October half-term.

Mondays - Good Lunchtime Book

Fridays - Good Work Book

Wednesdays:

Key Stage Singing Practices, including reflection and prayer, taken by HT/HoS.

Tuesdays and Thursdays;

Class Worship or Year Band Worship.

The first and last day of every half term is treated as a Monday/Friday.

Harvest, Christmas, Easter, last day of the Summer Term and Theme Weeks:

Whole school assemblies, in the round, with items from each Year Band.

Caretaker, cleaners, Office staff, gardeners, LOs, volunteers and governors invited.

Children’s Assemblies:

In the Spring Term, some of the Monday and Friday Key Stage assemblies are taken by classes, so that each class has a turn. The parents of the children in the class taking the assembly are invited. 

Tuesdays and Thursdays:

Class assemblies or Year Band assemblies in classrooms. All adults in the room take part, and sign put on the door to prevent interruption. The Lord's Prayer taught and used.
